🌊 Driving innovation in seagrass restoration and Nature-based Solutions 🌱 At HAEDES we are proud to contribute to solutions that bridge science, technology, and environmental sustainability, helping to restore marine ecosystems while supporting resilient coastal systems. Recently we experienced great collaboration moments in Aveiro with Andreia Gomes, Barbara Proença and Ivana Bosnic during the LIFE SeagrassRIAwild General Assembly, hosted at ECOMARE – Universidade de Aveiro. Together with partners, we aligned on progress and next steps, sharing our work on morphodynamic modelling of the Cais da Bestida navigation channel and supporting the implementation of #NatureBasedSolutions. A highlight was the visit to the mariculture facilities, where Zostera marina cultivation is underway - a major step forward in scaling up #seagrass restoration efforts. Recently, our team to Aveiro to carry out field inspections across the estuarine system.
