🌊 HAEDES has now also a home in Porto, at UPTEC - Science and Technology Park of University of Porto — alongside our homes in Lisbon, Wetteren-ten-Ede and Quito. Here the Douro meets the Atlantic. An estuary isn't a boundary but an exchange: tide pushing in, river pushing out, sediment settling and resuspending. What accretes in one reach was eroded from another — the sediment budget only closes across the whole system. That's how we want to work here too. We come not to take from Porto's flow but to be part of it: to listen to who is already here, and to build with them — partners, clients, students, universities, and the ecosystems we all depend on.
