Juneteenth is both a moment of reflection and a call to action. As we commemorate this important day, we are reminded that the work of advancing housing equity is far from finished. ​ ​ At Habitat for Humanity International, we see every day how access to homeownership transforms lives by creating stability, opportunity, and generational wealth. Yet we also know that systemic barriers have long limited that access for Black and other marginalized households. ​ ​ We remain committed to this work and to ensuring that every family has the opportunity to build stability, generational wealth, and a place to call home.
