As AI grows exponentially, its implementation has to be driven by real business needs, not projected outcomes! GXO's Nizar Trigui joined panelists at Fortune Brainstorm Tech to discuss what that implementation actually entails. The whole panel's worth a watch/listen, but here are some core takeaways ⬇️ 🔸AI is more than a side project; it's a capability that can drive true value, amplifying human expertise and enabling faster, better-informed decisions. And if your people are taken along on that journey, brands get to see compounding success. 🔸System-level change calls for redesigns of entire operating models, not just the specific tools used during deployment. Leveraging AI to help with that kind of adjustment lets you look at everything from workflows, to performance metrics, to how teams collaborate across functions. 🔸AI can identify patterns, forecast risk and recommend actions, but many decisions in logistics require context of relationships and business priorities that can only be provided by a human counterpart. Companies like GXO are using AI to support decision-making, but the experts are always the ones making their final, strategic calls. We're in a transformational time, but as Nizar himself put it, "I think we crossed the Rubicon. There is no going back. The future is bright, however the road is not clear. The hardest thing is that first step." So what do we all need to do? "Take that first step." Big thanks to Sean, Dan and Bret for your valuable insight, Amanda for your wonderful moderating, and West Monroe for hosting! Dive into the full convo: https://lnkd.in/eEYSbCiW
