This is precisely where transparency becomes critical for operational responsiveness. In a recent project for a major European wastewater utility, a solution was implemented to deliver precise real-time flow data โ without disrupting operations or interfering with critical hydraulic processes. Using our Kanalis Multi-Path technology together with Q-Eye PSC sensor solutions, existing infrastructure could continue to be utilised while improving visibility into system behaviour and identifying critical capacity limits at an early stage. But the real value is not created by sensor technology alone. It comes from the operational decisions enabled by that transparency: preventing overflows earlier, improving energy efficiency, stabilising operational processes, and ensuring regulatory compliance with greater confidence. A key factor was the seamless integration into existing SCADA systems and the ability to make hydraulic processes visible in real time โ without major construction work or operational shutdowns. Modern sewer networks do not simply need more data. They need intelligent measurement systems that turn data into operational decisions. Because if critical conditions are only detected once they occur, operators are no longer managing the network โ they are reacting to problems. If you are currently evaluating sewer monitoring, flow measurement, or network transparency strategies, letโs connect. ๐ฉย Contact:ย Simon Giutronich, MBA
