As a packaging recruiter, I spend most of my time talking about corrugated, labels, flexibles, cartons, rigid plastics, and glass. But this weekend in Kraków, Poland, I came across what might be my favourite packaging format yet... The Chimney Cake Ice Cream Cone - UNBELIEVABLE The best way to describe it is Mr Whippy ice cream piped into a doughnut-shaped cone. Now, before anyone points it out, yes, it doesn't keep the ice cream cold, offer barrier properties, or survive ISTA transit testing. But as a piece of short-term packaging, it was brilliant. 🍦 Easy to carry while walking around the city 🍦 No separate cone or cup required 🍦 Fully edible, I wasted none of the packaging Is this the tastiest packaging solution you can eat? I think so.
