📣 News from the ISEO Community Dr. Joseph Wright, MD, MPH has been appointed to the National Academy of Medicine’s (NAM) Building Trust in Health Science Through Community Partnership and Lived Experience Action Collaborative—a timely initiative focused on strengthening public trust in health science by making research more open, collaborative and responsive to the people it serves. As one of 32 inaugural members, Dr. Wright joins a distinguished group of community leaders, researchers, and practitioners working to co-develop community-driven approaches that prioritize diverse perspectives and shared stewardship. Dr. Wright is Senior Vice President and Chief Health Equity Officer at the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and previously served as Chief Medical Officer within the University of Maryland Medical System, as well as Professor and Chair of Pediatrics at Howard University College of Medicine.
