This is the face of a man who had just in one day flown over four hours, passed tests to renew two CAA and one EASA Instructor's rating, and his CAA, EASA and FAA Instrument Ratings. This is the face of a man who had just willingly parted with over £1400 doing it. This is the face of a man who was, frankly, absolutely knackered. Many thanks to Helen O live who happened to be around at the end of the day to share a long cold drink and take the photographs, and to a tough but very fair examiner. It does feel good to have everything ticked off again, especially my IRs which had lapsed during my cancer treatment then a prolonged period of my favourite IFR aeroplane "Suzie" being in maintenance. Now, who has anything interesting for me to fly?
