I’m closing an important chapter at Cobre, and I want to take a moment to reflect and say thank you. I joined Cobre as employee #39, back when our “office” was a coworking space inside a Selina hostel. From day one, I believed deeply in the idea and purpose of Cobre, even more, in the power of the team behind it. What started as a bet quickly became one of the most intense and rewarding professional journeys of my life. Over the years, Cobre was a true roller coaster — in the best sense of the word. I had the opportunity to move across different areas, build and scale teams, work with incredible people, and develop relationships with stakeholders both inside and outside the company. Along the way, I grew not only as a professional, but also as a person. I’m grateful to the founders Jose Donato, Jose V. Gedeon, Felipe Gedeon, Alberto Chejne for the trust, the challenges, and the space to take ownership and learn at scale. And to every teammate I worked with: thank you for the collaboration, the debates, the resilience, and the shared ambition to build something meaningful. Cobre has a strong road ahead, and I’m excited to see how the company continues to grow and shape the future of financial infrastructure in the region. I leave with perspective, gratitude, and a lot of lessons learned. Special thanks to Daniel Bustamante, Diego Ruiz, Emilio M. U., Diego Andrés G., Rafael Simancas, Joseph Sanders Navarrete, Santiago Herrera, Juan Felipe Castillo Moreno, Jairo Alfonso Rojas Ledesma, Julián Aguirre, Maria Florencia Bianchi, CAMS, Edwin Esneider López Duarte, Paula Andrea Cardona, and so many other incredible people I had the fortune to work with. Each of you taught me something different — about leadership, teamwork, resilience, and what it really means to build together. On to the next chapter. 🚀
