Powerlifting adventures series 2 - Nobody cares what you can bench So this year started off in a warehouse in Southend for a divisional meet to qualify for Nationals next year. I did not enjoy this one , weighed in at 8.15am, benched at 3.30pm , had to sit in 28 degrees heat waiting to go up. I still managed 2nd place in my age and weight category and qualified for nationals. 🥈 Sometimes you just can't prepare for how you will react with extreme weather conditions .🥵 This photo was taken just before my self talk as I stepped on to the platform... the photographer answered my questions and it made me laugh . Come on Gurdev.. you have got this 👉Why are you here ? 👉How are you going set up? 👉Do you want it to mean something ... 💫(The photographer said... "yes I do , so I can get a good shot)"🌟 lol😂😂
