While we were discussing the future of research, Laurent asked me if there was one insight I would be interested to gather via FlashInsight on zoulloo As you know it -or not- zoulloo is the first global community of independent talents 100% specialized in market research and data. We're growing rapidly, leveraging the increased need for agility and flexibility in the #insight teams. One of our ambition is to leverage the complementarities between #data and #insight specialists. Therefore "cracking" the highly competitive data freelancing market is important to us. That's the question I asked to Laurent and FlashInsight: Understanding the pain points and needs of CDO's, head od #data when it comes to flexible workforce: a typical B2B qual project on a specific tiny target. Not easy. Now, here's what stunned me: โณ๏ธ it took 15' to run 8 individual interviews with synthetic data personas of different kind โณ๏ธ Creating a 5 pages summary and an 18 pages report, fully actionable โณ๏ธ Delivering 3 ideas I had not thought about before And this is the #risk ๐งจ I was talking about in my previous post. โด๏ธ No it's NOT to see the insight jobs being replaced โด๏ธIt's not seizing the #OPPORTUNITY ! โ New "usage occasions": synthetic insights give me the opportunity to brainstorm with more "substance" than thinking on my own โ New targets: we're not -yet ๐ - a company that could afford spending 10K on a qual research on our customers. And there are millions of companies like us. They also need insight and research. โ New protocoles: I'm able to iterate with these synthetic personas to help me think and validate later with "real" customers In one word: it #enriches me. And, all of a sudden, #insight management becomes one of the most coolest application of AI in business: so #fast, so #easy for the user. And research expertise is there: Laurent spent hours in the past year developing this, leveraging his expertise, reading papers. I encourage you to do the same, whatever the size of your company, even and most importantly ifyou're on your own, the type of business you're in: just experience it.
