On the set of the “Studio” Netherlands Office Taipei to record a promotion video for the exhibition “Out of the Window” next month in Taoyuan organized by Taoyuan Museum of Fine Arts and Centraal Museum Utrecht, curated by Chun-Lan Liu and Bart Rutten. Although traveling is still difficult, arts and creativity know no boundary. Works by five Dutch artists (Frans Hofmeester, Han Hoogerbrugge, Jeroen Kooijmans, Johan Rijpma, and Rafaël Rozendaal) and four Taiwanese artists/groups, (Hsin-Chien Huang + Laurie Anderson, Jaw-Shing Liou, Wen-Hsin Teng, Hsueh-Mien Wu) will be projected from the museum onto opposite walls, allowing the citizens of Taoyuan to look out through the windows and see the exchanges of art and culture between the two cities. I wish this creative exhibition a great success, and that more Taiwanese can meet the Netherlands right here in Taoyuan.
