What a fantastic The Extracellular Matrix Pharmacology Congress! It was truly inspiring to connect with so many brilliant scientists, exchange ideas, and be part of the collaborative spirit that defined the event. A few key reflections stood out for us: - We are witnessing a clear shift from studying diseases in isolation to understanding multi-organ diseases and the complex interactions between biological systems. - Cross-disciplinary collaboration across therapeutic areas is critical to accelerating drug development for ECM-associated diseases. - Blood-based biomarkers continue to gain momentum and hold tremendous potential to transform disease detection, monitoring, and patient stratification. These themes strongly resonate with our approach at Gubra, where we combine deep biological insights, translational capabilities, and integrated disease models to support the development of tomorrow’s therapies.
