We're proud to announce the opening of Spain's first Biosafety Level 4 (BSL-4) laboratory at our Tres Cantos Research and Development Centre in Madrid. This is a significant stride in our mission to get ahead of disease. Fully operational from this month, our BSL-4 lab will enable critical research into high-risk pathogens, like multidrug-resistant tuberculosis, under the most stringent safety conditions. It will also foster crucial public-private partnerships in the fight against infectious diseases worldwide. The investment in the new facility - a first for any global biopharma company - underscores our commitment to innovation, scientific excellence, and tackling emerging health threats.
