🤖 GS E&C Partners with DaedongRobotics (대동로보틱스) to Advance Construction Site Automation GS E&C has signed an MOU with DaedongRobotics (대동로보틱스) to jointly research and develop construction site automation technologies powered by AI field robots. The partnership will begin with on-site demonstrations of AI-powered autonomous mobile robots, focusing on practical applications such as material transportation and repetitive tasks. Through these trials, the two companies will evaluate the robots’ performance, safety, durability, and adaptability in dynamic construction environments. This collaboration represents an important step toward applying Physical AI—technology that enables AI systems to move, transport materials, and perform tasks in real-world environments—to the construction industry. GS E&C will provide its construction expertise and testing infrastructure, while DaedongRobotics (대동로보틱스) will contribute its AI, autonomous driving technologies, and robot operation capabilities. The data and insights collected during the demonstrations will be used to define the functions and operating requirements needed for construction-specific robots.
