Dr. Aaron T. Beck is recognized as the father of one of the most famous non-pharmacological intervention (#NPI) to treat depression, the Cognitive Behavior Therapy (#CBT). He died in 2021 at his Philadelphia home aged 100. The NPIS - Non-Pharmacological Intervention Society has decided to bring together all #NPI that have proven their worth in terms of mechanism, procedure, clinical efficacy, safety and practical application in a universal, centralized, open and evolving repository. Its name: the NPIS Registry ➡️ https://lnkd.in/dDQGuu2P. All "fathers" or "mothers" of NPI with such evidence are invited to publish them in this best-practice registry. These evidence-based, person-centered health protocols, delivered by humans, need – now more than ever – to be better known, better recognized, better utilized and better reimbursed. A registry of healthcare and prevention protocols with an HARMONIZED CODIFICATION will help digital systems, insurances and administrations to monitor and valorize human work helping other humans. #therapy #psychotherapy #psychosocialintervention #treatment #depression Iveta Nagyova Elodie BERTRAND Audrey GABELLE Kim L.
