Last week’s IWA LET conference in Houston reinforced a core reality for our industry: water infrastructure doesn't succeed in a vacuum. The week kicked off with Hamed Heyhat welcoming attendees at the opening reception, setting a collaborative tone that carried through the entire event. Later, at Rice University , Grundfos and Newterra co-hosted a workshop gathering practitioners, engineers, and customers to tackle a pressing question: how do we ensure decentralized water and wastewater solutions complement—rather than compete with—existing centralized infrastructure? On Friday, we brought that dialogue out of the conference room and onto the manufacturing floor. We welcomed IWA LET participants and the Rice University community to our Americas headquarters in Brookshire. The behind-the-scenes tour showcased exactly how digitalization, automation, and advanced manufacturing are put to work to create reliable water treatment and dosing solutions. Thank you to everyone who joined us here in Texas. These are the exchanges that actually move our sector forward.
