What if the secret to great skincare was also rooted in the soil? 🌱 Ten years ago, Clarins turned a conviction into action: growing our own plants to ensure complete traceability from soil to skincare. That commitment became Domaine de Serraval. Nestled at 1,400 metres in the French Alps, this living laboratory spans 15 hectares and is home to around 30 plant species. Built on a 99-year commitment to the same land, it was the first initiative of its kind in France. Today, Domaine de Serraval is Regenerative Organic Certified® - a commitment that goes beyond organic farming. It means restoring and enriching the soil, protecting biodiversity, and supporting the people who care for the land. A decade later, we've grown beyond the Alps with a second Domaine in the Gard region. Today, for the first time in the cosmetics industry, the plants at the heart of our formulas come from land we own and cultivate ourselves. By 2030, that will represent 30% of the plants used in our formulas. Again, happy 10th anniversary Domaine de Serraval! Proud of how far we've come and even more excited for what's ahead. 💛
