In Miami, we traded our desktops and keyboards for gardening gloves and trowels – the makings of a special volunteering day at the Vizcaya Museum & Gardens! 🌿 Our mission was to help preserve the beauty of this US National Historic Landmark by removing harmful weeds and planting new, non-invasive species. It was a pleasure to spend time with the Vizcaya team, who presented their work at the intersection of environmental stewardship, beauty, and community engagement – a commitment to caring for both people and the planet much like our own. 💚
