Today we announce the release of #MCP services on both GTmetrix and BackWPup, making website performance testing and backups for WordPress sites as convenient as a chat in your preferred AI tool. This marks an expansion of MCP support across the group.one SaaS portfolio, extending the capabilities of the group’s Aida AI platform. For agencies and web managers, the GTmetrix integration changes how performance work gets done. You can now run GTmetrix tests, analyse results, and act on recommendations directly inside Claude, ChatGPT, or whichever AI tool you already use. No dashboard switching. No separate login. Just performance intelligence built into your existing workflow. That means faster client reporting, automated regression detection, and for dev teams, the ability to wire performance thresholds directly into CI/CD pipelines. With BackWPup users can manage their backups in the same way. A user simply types "Run a backup before I update my plugins." The AI tool understands the request, starts the backup, shows progress, and confirms when the site is safe. No settings or extra steps. Just the outcome they wanted. With these new launches, GTmetrix and BackWPup join MiniCRM Zrt. and SocialPilot in the group.one MCP portfolio. MiniCRM users can query their entire customer pipeline through natural conversation; deals, follow-ups, drafted comms, without touching a menu. And Social Media management platform, SocialPilot, supports MCP-enabled publishing and account workflows, with campaign analytics and scheduling intelligence on the way. Our CEO, Daniel Hagemeier says, "MCP is an important step in making AI genuinely useful for agencies and pro users. Our focus is practical automation that saves time, reduces manual work, and helps customers run their businesses more efficiently. By integrating MCP across our portfolio, we are building a stronger foundation for the next generation of AI-enabled digital services." Read more at the news article. Link in comments 👇
