The IAPP Digital Risk Index 2026 shows how closely privacy, AI governance, cybersecurity, geopolitics, third-party risk and data governance are now connected. Among the top risks identified by global leaders: AI technologies compounding adverse outcomes, nation-state cyberattacks, fragmented governance rules, third-party vendor dependency and legacy data governance architecture.
