We’re proud to celebrate Griffith College student Kimberly Gono, who has been named one of the 2026 Gold Coast Mayor’s Student Ambassadors. This incredible achievement recognises students' leadership, community engagement and study success. Kimberly is currently studying a Diploma of Health Science with Griffith College and will progress with credit into the Bachelor of Biomedical Science with Griffith University. We can’t wait to see all that Kimberly will achieve as she represents the student community across the Gold Coast. "Becoming a Mayor's Student Ambassador means being a voice. I've always been passionate about making a positive impact and want to inspire others. “This program will allow me to sharpen my leadership skills, build lasting connections and create positive opportunities for myself and those around me."
