Thirteen Australian Research Council (ARC) Discovery and two ARC Linkage Project grants were awarded to Griffith researchers with a total value of more than $10 million. From understanding Generation Z political engagement to exploring versatile separation of nanoparticles and developing innovative responses to reduce heat risk in cities, the funded projects cover a wide range of research areas. Professor Lynley Wallis and her team of archaeologists received the largest Discovery grant to continue their work in partnership with Mirarr Traditional Owners, enriching the heritage significance of the oldest site of human occupation in Australia, Madjedbebe in the Northern Territory. Join us in celebrating these investments in our academics, whose work helps society adapt and thrive. Griffith Centre for Social and Cultural Research
