Two weeks ago, Jason Kapodistrias, Fernando De Oliveira Poli, Jack Qu, and I had the opportunity to present our completed capstone project, Vacuum Nest Block for GTF Sheath, to a panel of industry judges. Thanks to our team's dedication, the invaluable guidance of our faculty mentor Xiyuan Liu, the support of our company correspondent James McBurney, and in collaboration with Pursuit Aerospace, we’re proud to share that our project and presentation earned 2nd place among all ME capstone teams! Being a part of a project that followed all phases of the design cycle - from initial concepts to design validation - was an extremely enriching experience. Our team faced and overcame numerous challenges along the way, and through persistence and creativity, we developed a solution that not only met but exceeded expectations. It was a privilege to work alongside such a talented group of individuals and I’m beyond proud of what we accomplished together!
