I’ve just published July’s Collector’s Note. This one brings together five artists at very different points in their careers: Yoona Kwon, Susannah Pal, Edmond Brooks-Beckmann, Sara Rossberg and Clyde Hopkins. They are not linked by style. What connects them is something else: the sense that each artist understands surface as an active field. Not just the place where an image appears, but the place where the image thinks.
