And Green Sarthi have a 4th project. Kids turned waste into…🔥Most awareness sessions talk... But this one made kids do. Green Sarthi partnered with St. Albert High School, Hyderabad on 2nd April to organize sustainability awareness activities for kids. Here something different happened... No lectures. No boring slides. Just curiosity, creativity, and action. ✨ Here’s what we did: 🌼 Activity 1: Flowers → Dhoop Batti What most people throw away after prayers became something useful again. Kids learned that “waste” is often just misplaced value. But beyond sustainability, this taught them: • The value of manual work • Respect for handmade over disposable • Turning creativity into something tangible • Patience and focus in the process ♻️ Activity 2: Waste Segregation Game Not a lesson. A game. And suddenly, dry vs wet waste wasn’t confusing anymore... Infact it was intuitive. And along the way, they picked up: • Quick decision-making under pressure • Teamwork & collaboration • Problem-solving in real-time • Confidence in getting it right (or wrong & learning) Why should you care? Because real change doesn’t start with policies. It starts with habits. And habits formed early shape how the next generation consumes, wastes, and thinks. If kids can understand sustainability through play, imagine the long-term impact. Key takeaway: Awareness isn’t just about information, but also about experience that sticks. 💡 If this made you rethink how awareness should be taught, save this for future ideas. 📤 And share it with someone who believes change starts young. 🌍#sustainability #climateaction #lowcarbon #carbonfootprint #greenevents #sustainableoperations #ESG #environment #publictransport #ecofriendly #betterchoices #sustainableindia #greensarthi #circulareconomy #responsiblebusiness #saveearth #share #knowledge #linkedIn #trending #freelance #freelancer #freelancing #corporate #placement #job #carboneutral #education #india #school #awareness
