When fighting in Iran paused between April 8-12, fossil fuel companies saw prices drop. But did they pass those savings on to people? Of course not. Instead, they pocketed the difference and made more profit during the ceasefire than before. This is what fossil fuel dependence costs us. Companies profit. People pay. And there's no way out as long as we're trapped burning fossil gas and oil. We need renewables. We need them now. Stop fossil gas.
