✅ GREENER Project H2020 partner Universidad Autónoma de Madrid is using high throughput DNA 🧬 sequencing to determine the microorganisms 🦠 present at polluted soil sites. ✅ We are also determining the genes harboured by these microorganisms in order to determine those encoding enzymes 🧫implicated in the biodegradation of organic pollutants. ✅ These molecular methods and the bioinformatic analysis 👩🏻‍💻 allow the evaluation of the potential of the microbial populations present at the site for the degradation of these pollutants and facilitate the isolation of individual strains and consortia proficient in biodegradation 🌱.   📗 For more information you can advise the following publication 👇👇👇: https://lnkd.in/dVFxrCb #GREENER #H2020 #remediation #ecopiles #soil #water #contaminationcontrol #decontamination
