As a part of our United Nations agenda, Green Tech Mining & Services LLC participated in the 21st Annual General Meeting of the Intergovernmental Forum on Mining, Minerals, Metals and Sustainable Development IGFMining at the United Nations Office at Geneva. We shared our case study on Green Tech’s tailings reprocessing project in Oman, demonstrating how an abandoned mine-site can be transformed into a productive, circular resource hub, turning legacy mine waste into valuable secondary resources and advancing the #circulareconomy and global #sustainability goals. Engaged with representatives from member states including #Switzerland, #Colombia, #Georgia, #Guinea, #Canada, and the #Netherlands, as well with H.E Abdul Rehman Al-Belushi, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, in support of the upcoming UNEA-7 discussions. Grateful to the IGF Secretariat, UNEP, and all partners for fostering this global dialogue on responsible minerals governance and sustainability.
