Mascom Partners with Mogoditshane SSS Eco-Club for Community Work Project On 13th June 2026, Mascom collaborated with the Mogoditshane Senior Secondary School GAYO Eco-Club to donate tree seedlings and essential items as part of their 3-hour community work project, which has been running since 2022. Donations included: · 9 fruit tree seedlings (orange, lemon, peach, guava) · 12 Ficus Benjamina tree seedlings · Toiletries and uniforms for students The event was led by Eco-Club President Winnie Ntsharwa, with a keynote address by Mrs Merapelo, Head of Retail at Mascom Wireless. Tebogo Cleopatra Bahiti, GAYO Botswana Eco-Clubs and Education Coordinator, facilitated an educational workshop on tree planting. Each planted tree was designated as a legacy tree, with one named after Mascom and another after the Eco-Club. Twenty students participated in the planting, with fruit trees placed at the hostels and Ficus Benjamina along the hostel perimeters. This collaboration highlights the value of private sector engagement in supporting youth-led environmental initiatives.
