Developed through Sussex Energy, a Greater Brighton Economic Board initiative, this new Community Energy Communications Toolkit aims to help organisations raise awareness of the incredible community energy work taking place across Sussex and create a stronger, more coordinated voice for the region's energy transition. Community energy organisations support around 130 local jobs, reinvest £1.5 million into Sussex communities each year, help tackle fuel poverty and enable communities to jointly own renewable energy assets, keeping more of the benefits of the energy transition local. Help amplify the work of this fantastic sector by using content from the Toolkit in your organisation's communications. By sharing stories, opportunities and practical advice, together we can raise awareness of community energy, inspire more people to get involved and get our region known for it's strong energy decarbonisation work.
