Not every challenge appears on the event brief. Over the past few days, temperatures have reached levels rarely seen in Belgium. And yet, the events carried on. Guests enjoy a cocktail, a dinner or an evening celebration. What they do not always see are the teams working behind the scenes, often under a blazing sun, setting up, preparing, serving and making sure everything runs exactly as it should. In our profession, we anticipate many things : timings, logistics, contingency, plans, unexpected situations. But some conditions simply cannot be controlled. So we adapt. We drink more water. We look out for one another. We adjust the way we work. And above all, we keep moving forward together. Because beyond every event, it is people who make it happen. Over the past few days, we simply wanted to take a moment to recognise them. For their energy. Their commitment. And their willingness to show up, even when conditions are particularly demanding.
