Reconciliation isn’t a single moment — it’s a journey we walk together. For many Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, this week carries deep meaning. It’s about truth-telling, connection to Country, and the strength of cultures that have cared for land and sea for tens of thousands of years. It’s also about recognising the lived experiences that continue today. At the Reef Authority, we are privileged to work alongside Traditional Owners whose knowledge, leadership and connection to Sea Country continue to shape how we protect and manage the Great Barrier Reef. This week is a time to listen, to learn, and to reflect on the role each of us plays in building respect, understanding and meaningful partnerships. Reconciliation grows through action — in how we work together, how we learn from one another, and how we walk forward with care. At the Reef Authority we aim to be All In for reconciliation. #ReconciliationWeek #lovetheReef Reconciliation Australia
