Girls’ Day 2026 at GRAMMER, a great success 🚀 All spots were filled within a very short time, and we were excited to welcome 12 young participants to our IT department. A pretty clear sign of how strong the interest in technical careers really is. But what exactly is Girls’ Day? Also known as “Girls’ Day – Future Prospects Day,” it is a nationwide initiative in Germany that gives girls insights into professions where women are still underrepresented, especially in IT, engineering, and STEM fields. At GRAMMER, the participants had the chance to get hands on experience, exploring programming with Java and the ESP32. Technologies that are not only part of school curricula, but also highly relevant in real world applications. The day was opened by Dominik Glaser, trainer in Information Technology, and Norbert Burk, Head of Training, who created a welcoming and motivating atmosphere right from the start.
