AI agents are rewriting how enterprises operate — but without observability, they're black boxes in production. At #GrafanaCON 2026 in Barcelona, we announced AI observability in Grafana Cloud, treating agent sessions and LLM conversations as first-class telemetry signals alongside logs, metrics, and traces. We also launched GCX, our new agentic CLI that brings Grafana Assistant directly into coding environments like Claude Code and GitHub Copilot, and unveiled Loki Evolution — rebuilt from scratch on Apache Kafka for 10x faster aggregation queries scanning 20x less data. To drive this forward, we're forming a dedicated AI organization led by Mat Ryer to coordinate across AI observability, assistant experiences, and agent-driven workflows.
