🚗 Finding the source of an unwanted noise in a car can take NVH engineers hours. Grafana Labs partner demicon figured out how to solve for that with Grafana and became a 2026 Golden Grot finalist. The hard part wasn't the UI. It was the data. ASAM ODS ATFx files carry sound measurements at up to 48,000 Hz. Not exactly native Grafana territory. The team built a cloud-native ETL pipeline on AWS using Parquet and Apache Iceberg, with pre-computed aggregations to keep query latency fast enough to actually be useful. The result: engineers who've spent 10+ years in specialized NVH software said using Grafana is faster and more intuitive than the tools they've always relied on.
