Dear HR Share your Thoughts #WeWillgetBacktoYou This is 22 years old Okeke Grace during her national Youth service, a one year program which serves as a semi paramilitary training for youths in Nigeria upon graduation from Collage. NASARAWA STATE UNIVERSITY, KEFFI That was one of the Man 'O' War Drills, a training our Tutors took time and passion to engage us in. Climbing up that fence was to teach us among many things, Tenacity, Courage and Brevity in face of Challenging situations as we sojourn in life and in quest to make Ends Meet. But the sentence below seems to be defeating the above as many wait and cry and gets no feedback. #WeWillGetBackToYou. That sentence has kept many vibrant,energetic and skilled youths in the dark, led many into depression and of course as the saying goes an (idle hand is a devils workshop), gotten criminal ideas and thought of seeking a way to Run out of a Country they should Naturally want to develop. My Thoughts. HR team is not only meant to Hire and Fire. I believe HR team should be mentors too. HR Team should be Bold enough to tell a Candidate that they didn't performance as expected and cease a little time to point out mistakes made that will help them to prepare better for subsequent interviews. immediate feedback helps.
