🚀 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮-𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲   On 24 June 2026, the Indo-German Working Group on Quality Infrastructure successfully convened its 11th Annual Meeting in a virtual format, reaffirming over a decade of strong and forward-looking cooperation between India and Germany in the field of Quality Infrastructure.    🔎 The day’s proceedings began with a Government-to-Government (G2G) meeting led by Ms. Nidhi Khare, Secretary, Department of Consumer Affairs and Dr.Benjamin Weigert, Director General, Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE).   Ms. Khare and Dr Ole Janssen, Deputy Director General, Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy co-chaired the 11th Annual Meeting of the Working Group.     🤝 The meeting brought together more than 50 key stakeholders from both countries, including representatives from government, industry, and Quality Infrastructure institutions such as DIN Deutsches Institut für Normung e. V., DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies), Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle (DAkkS), Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt, PTB, Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung, Siemens,VDMA, VDMA India , ZVEI ,Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Department of Commerce, Indo-German Chamber of Commerce and Bureau of Indian Standards, enabling a rich and constructive exchange of perspectives.    ⚡ 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:    • Strategic Standardization   • Technical Regulations   • Conformity Assessment   • Legal Metrology   • Machinery Safety     🌍 The meeting reaffirmed a shared vision to strengthen a modern, resilient, and globally aligned Quality Infrastructure ecosystem that supports innovation, trade facilitation, and sustainable growth.
