Glad to have participated in India Innovates 2026, the World’s Largest Civic Tech Hackathon organized by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi at Bharat Mandapam. Competing on a national stage alongside innovators working at the intersection of technology and governance was an incredible experience. At the hackathon, we built 𝗦𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗸 𝗦𝗮𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗶 - a road intelligence and safety network tackling one of Delhi’s most overlooked problems: potholes. Instead of manual reporting, we turned 3 lakh+ delivery riders and cab drivers into a passive sensor network, using: • Accelerometer-based detection (LSTM) • YOLO-based hazard detection • Real-time alerts and safer routing • A shared ecosystem for citizens, NGOs, and government bodies 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁: real-time road intelligence at zero additional infrastructure cost.
