Today Ireland’s agrifood sector exports are worth €21bn annually. Yesterday we celebrated 100 years of agricultural education and innovation at Government Buildings. The event marked 100 years since the University Education Act 1926. In 1926 Government Buildings housed the Royal College of Science, the founding home of the Faculty of Agriculture for UCD.
