There was a quiet shift in tone during The State of Risk at #GRMF2026 WA. Less about frameworks. More about reality. Larissa Elliot (Department of Transport and Major Infrastructure), Katie Hunt FGIA (Scotch College, Perth), Amy Mayer (Silverchain Group) and Mark Harris (Diligent) brought the discussion back to what organisations are navigating on the ground. Geopolitical pressures, fragmented regulations, growing exposure across data and systems, and the impact of workforce and psychosocial risk. What came through was the idea that risk is no longer a series of separate conversations. It's interconnected, fast-moving and increasingly difficult to predict. The organisations that are adapting best aren't chasing certainty. They're building the ability to respond, using technology and human judgement to anticipate what might come next and prepare for it. A grounded session that reflected how risk is actually being managed today, not how it looks on paper. #GRMF #GRMF2026 #AnotherGoodDecision
