Stepping into a new mission Following my departure from the rail industry, I am honored to share that I have joined Airbus as VP, Head of Accounting Defence and Space. The defence and space sector is undergoing profound transformation. Geopolitical tensions, accelerated technological change, and the clear imperative for greater European strategic autonomy are redefining priorities. Governments are investing in sovereign capabilities, resilient infrastructure, and advanced systems that strengthen security in an increasingly complex world. In this context, the industry is not only high-tech - it is foundational to stability and strategic independence. Throughout my career in complex, safety-critical industries, I have focused on building strong financial governance, high-performing teams, and transparent structures that enable sustainable performance. I look forward to contributing that experience in a sector where financial rigor directly underpins operational readiness and long-term capability. I am grateful for the trust placed in me and excited to meet my new colleagues across Airbus Defence and Space and the broader Airbus organization.
