Quieter week across the security vendors I follow, but the headlines that did land all pointed the same way: AI is moving into the SOC as an actual worker, not just a feature. #SentinelOne opened up autonomous investigation to everyone. Purple AI Agentic Investigation is now generally available — one click kicks off an agent that detects, investigates, validates, and responds to a threat on its own. Under the hood it runs several models together: Anthropic's Claude, OpenAI's GPT, and SentinelOne's own "Ultraviolet." #Netskope handed SOC grunt work to agents. Their new AgentSkope library ships with six ready-made AI agents — DLP triage, insider-threat triage, private access, digital experience, and more. One beta customer sifted 14 million daily alerts in minutes, work that used to eat hours of manual effort. One security note worth flagging: a critical privilege-escalation vulnerability was reported in the Symantec DLP Agent.
