Wander around our Mountain View, CA campus and you're bound to spot one of our iconic GBikes. The bicycles — brightly painted in Google’s four colors — have been a fixture of our Bay Area offices since they first rolled onto the scene in 2007. In 2025, Googlers took 2.5 million trips on GBikes, covering over 1.1 million miles. This year, we introduced the biggest design upgrade to the GBike since 2012. This new model retains the original look, but we’ve packed it with new tech to make cruising across campus a breeze, like a lightweight aluminum frame, three-speed gear shifts and a grease-free belt drive to keep office outfits looking sharp.
