Today we’re introducing study notebooks in the Gemini App 📓✨ a new, interactive space designed to help turn your natural curiosity into deeper comprehension. Study notebooks offer an engaging way to test your knowledge and retain information on anything you’re trying to learn more about. By uploading your materials, Gemini can generate custom diagnostic quizzes, bite-sized practice modules and a dashboard that tracks your focus areas and progress over time. 💡 To get started, just select “New notebook” in the Gemini app side panel, and hit “Study” then upload your course materials. Study notebooks also sync your uploaded sources and past chats with NotebookLM so you can seamlessly continue learning, ask questions about your course materials, and create flashcards, infographics and more. We believe access to helpful learning tools should be available to everyone — because expensive prep courses shouldn't be the barrier between you and a great score. You can already prep for the SAT, JEE and NEET just by chatting with the Gemini app (try asking, "I want to study for the SAT”). And starting today, SAT prep is officially available in study notebooks, too. We're also bringing JEE and NEET to study notebooks soon, and expanding both standard chats and study notebooks to include the ENEM, ACT and GRE this summer. 📚 Study notebooks are available at no-cost and rolling out globally on the web in every region and language the Gemini app supports, with availability on mobile and for school-issued accounts (including for users under 18) coming later this summer.
