For Taso, a Software Engineering Manager, the path to Google Bucharest started with a deep-rooted interest for Android and a leap of faith across Europe. Today, he’s leading the SystemUI Launcher team and building a community in a brand-new city. “Moving from Berlin to Bucharest has been a big change for me, but it was totally worth it,” he says. “It is also a rare opportunity to build and grow a new team.” In his day-to-day role, Taso works on making complex engineering goals feel structured.
