Here's to a good #Monday, Mi Gente! 🧙🏽‍♂️🪄🔥🧝🏽‍♀️🎶 Have you ever wondered if you could ever create something great, something relevant, something that can touch people’s lives for the better? If so, how? What if I told you I met someone whose work has touched millions of lives through the years? A musical Master, a true Maestro. His name is Lorne Balfe, and what the lessons in creativity and work he taught me can impact and help you in your everyday life. You probably didn’t know it, but Maestro Balfe’s music is probably present in a movie, TV shows or even Video Game you or someone in your family loved and enjoyed recently. Here are some of the franchises that include his music: ·      Mission Impossible ·      Top Gun Maverick ·      The Batman Lego Movie ·      Sherlock Holmes ·      Kung Fu Panda ·      The Naked Gun ·      Luther ·      The Wheel of Time ·      The Crown In our last edition I told you how mesmerizing it was to see in person how his work in the movie “Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves” caused a packed theatre to cheer, howl and scream in ovation. So, how does a professional artist like Lorne Balfe do that? Well, Mi Gente, I had the privilege to interview him personally, and it’s hard to describe the powerful impression that an artist of this caliber has left on me. Maestro Balfe was kind enough to share not only part of his story, but also about the secrets of his craft. I think the best way to summarize it would be the following: Versatility & curiosity helps keep the passion Turn your weaknesses into strengths Be prepared so you can create Take advantage of technology A big "GRACIAS" to Camila Baltazar and Julie McBeth from Utah Symphony | Utah Opera , for making this possible. A big shoutout to those in the media industry who have inspired me to create: Rosa Falu, M.A., Johnny Murillo, Jose Contreras MBA, Deprina Godboldo, M.A., Reggie Williams, Reggie Wade, April M. Sanchez, Brad Alexander, Juliana Agosto, Adassa Candiani, Isabel Schultz, Camille Leganza, Lauren Appleton and many others!
