🎬In #Memoriam I Actress Nadia Fares who graced the stage to present the award to Rui Costa With a heavy heart, we look back on the Golden Foot Awards 2024, held under the High Patronage of HSH Prince Albert II, in Monaco Visit Monaco, in the presence of Louis and Marie Ducruet. Nadia Farès graced the stage to present the Golden Foot Legend Award to Rui Costa, celebrating the greatest names in football. That evening, she was radiant and interviewed by Anne-Laure Bonnet. 🎬 Raised in Nice, Nadia later moved to Paris and built a career that spanned continents and decades. She first captivated French audiences with her breakthrough role in Les Rivières pourpres (2000) alongside Jean Reno and Vincent Cassel, followed by Wasabi (2001) and Nid de Guêpes (2002), cementing her place among France's most compelling actresses. 🌍 Her talent then took her across the Atlantic — appearing in the action thriller War (2007) with Jet Li and Jason Statham, and later alongside Mel Gibson in the gripping thriller On the Line (2022). She also starred in the acclaimed Netflix series Marseille (2016–2018) with Gérard Depardieu and Benoît Magimel. Her final role was in Toujours Possible(2024), where she played a 55-year-old biologist yearning to have a child — a quietly moving farewell to the screen. 💛 Claude Lelouch, who directed her in two films, called her a wonderful actress and an incredible friend and had already written her a new role in his next project. That chapter will never be written. Laeticia Hallyday, one of her closest friends, said that Nadia was always there for her, Jade, Joy, like family, and that she wants to believe she found her Johnny up there. Her two daughters, Shana and Cylia, were her greatest pride and now carry her light forward. On April 17, 2026, she left us at just 57 years old. The world lost a wonderful actress, a devoted mother, and an extraordinary human being. Rest In Peace, Nadia. Tu nous manqueras pour toujours. 🕊️ #NadiaFarès #GoldenFoot2024 #GoldenFoot #Monaco #Hommage #RIP #CinémaFrançais #LesRivièresPourpres #Wasabi #OnTheLine #MelGibson #Marseille #ClaudeLelouch #LaeticiaHallyday
