As we reflect on more than 1️⃣5️⃣ years of partnership with the Yilka people and Cosmo Community, we extend our sincere appreciation for the collaboration, trust, and commitment shared throughout the Yamarna / #Gruyere journey ⚒   From the early stages of exploration through to negotiating mining and exploration agreements, mine development and operations, our relationship has been built on mutual respect, transparency, and a shared vision to deliver lasting, positive outcomes for both the community and our projects 🤝. Over the years, we have navigated challenges and celebrated milestones side by side - each experience deepening our connection and shared understanding.   A key strength of this partnership has been the ongoing exchange of knowledge and culture. Through initiatives such as #NAIDOC celebrations, cultural awareness activities, and the creation of the Junior Ranger Program, we’ve had the privilege of learning from one another and supporting opportunities for the next generation to engage with Country, culture and environment.   Our recent (and final) Relationship Committee Meeting on Country was a special opportunity to come together and reflect on this shared history. From the delicious homemade lunch to the heartfelt presentations by the children 🥰, it was a day filled with pride, connection, gratitude and a few tears!   We sincerely thank the Yilka people, their Elders and community representatives for their continued partnership and contribution.
