At the end of September, the team of scientists from Fraunhofer IEG (Gerd Winterleitner, Sven Maerz, and Nadezda Meier), EVN (Richard Scholey), and GeoSphere Austria (anna sara amabile and Arnulf Schiller) explored the fascinating world of Triassic carbonates and geological settings in the Vienna Basin. βοΈ ποΈ The new data collected from field measurements, drone recordings, and lab sample analyses will support predictive models for the quality and distribution of one of the promising potential geothermal reservoirs in the region.
